Dear parents,

Our annual parent information seminar will be running for Y3s, 4s, 5s and 7s. We are extending an invitation to current NCS parents (incl. parents signed up for 2025).

The 2025 scholarship exam season is drawing closer. We will need to discuss some important topics: What types of scholarship offers are there? How does one go about choosing the right schools and planning the exam season? What details should you keep an eye on in the application process? What are the common pitfalls, etc.

Whilst it is vital for students to prepare academically, it is just as important that parents understand the exam process, application procedure and all the contextual knowledge needed to prepare for the exam season. For example, girls schools PLC, Lauriston Girls and Lowther Hall all scheduled their exams on the same day. The same applies for co-edu schools Caulfield grammar, Wesley College and Huntingtower. In such situations, which school should parents consider applying for?

This seminar is designed to help our current Y3, 4, 5 and 7 parents to make informed decisions about the coming exam season (other parents are also welcome to attend). During the seminar, you will also receive resources with important information about the 2025 exam season, such as how to apply, exam dates and exam formats etc. Please be sure to attend one of the sessions.

There will be three seminars in English, all in Week 7 (23^rd and 24^th of November):

• Templestowe Campus – 23rd Nov, 9:15am – 11:00am
• Wheelers Hill (Sunday) Campus – 24th Nov, 9:15am – 11:00am
• Ashwood Campus – 24th Nov 1:45pm – 3:30pm
